  • Worship that’s alive. Teaching that speaks to your life. People who feel like family.

Every Sunday at Crosstown, we gather to experience God’s presence, hear from His Word, and grow together in grace. You can expect:

    • A warm welcome from our team (including the little ones!)

    • An uplifting time of Jesus-centered, Spirit-filled worship

    • A life-giving, practical message rooted in God’s Word

    • People dressed in everything from suits to T-shirts (wear what’s comfortable for you — you’re among family here!)

  • Free on-site parking is available in the surface parking lots adjacent to the school building. There is a parking lot accessible on Van Buren St. (between Loomis and Laflin Sts.) and another parking lot accessible on Laflin St. (between Jackson Blvd. and Van Buren St.).

  • Please plan to enter at Door 7C on the Van Buren Street side of the Whitney Young High School Arts Building. The address of this entrance is 1430 W. Van Buren St.

There is an alternate entrance to the building at 1431 W. Jackson Blvd. For security purposes, the Jackson Blvd. entry will be closed ten minutes after the start of our service.

  • We’ve got you covered! At Crosstown, we are committed to creating a welcoming and accessible environment for all.

We offer reserved accessible parking in the Van Buren Street parking lot as well as priority seating near the front of the sanctuary for individuals and families who need it.

If you’d like assistance upon arrival, a member of our welcome team will be ready to serve you.

  • We believe it’s important that kids - and their caregivers - feel loved and welcomed at church.

On 2nd and 4th Sundays, Crosstown Next meets during the main gathering. Crosstown Next is our space for kids and youth to experience age-appropriate community, teaching, and formation in a safe, faith-filled environment. You can pre-register your child here.

On 1st, 3rd, and 5th Sundays, families are invited to worship together in the main service, enjoying the shared rhythm of the whole church. Each gathering includes a special moment designed to engage and support families with kids.

No matter which Sunday you attend, we provide support and care so your whole family can engage meaningfully in worship.

If you have questions about Crosstown Next or visiting with kids, feel free to reach out to us at next@crosstownchicago.org.

  • Yes! Our worship services are easily accessed via public transit:

    • 🚇 CTA Blue Line (a 5-minute walk north and west of the Racine St. station; please note the exit to Loomis St. is closed for construction, so you’ll need to use the exit to Racine St. and then walk 2 blocks west down Van Buren St. to Crosstown)

    • 🚍 CTA #9 Ashland Ave. bus (one block east of Jackson Blvd. stop)

  • At Crosstown, we like to say it this way:

    We’re Christian by conviction.
We believe Jesus Christ is Lord and hold to the core beliefs shared by followers of Jesus Christ throughout the centuries.

    We’re Pentecostal by experience.
We believe the Holy Spirit is still active today — filling, empowering, transforming, and leading people into new life.

    We’re Apostolic by heritage.
We pattern our life together after the teachings and practices of the apostles in the Book of Acts, living out a faith that’s biblical, Spirit-filled, and mission-driven.

If you’re looking for a church that is passionate about Jesus, open to the Spirit’s work, rooted in the Scriptures, and committed to actively participating in God’s mission in today’s world — we think you’ll feel right at home at Crosstown.

  • We’re here to help! Feel free to reach out to us anytime at hello@crosstownchicago.org or send us a DM on Instagram or Facebook @wearecrosstown.
