Nostalgia: Remembering without Living Backward | Inside Out Pt. 11 | Crosstown Midweek w/Dr. Pearce

What do you do when the past won't let you move forward? Can remembering the good old days keep you from recognizing what God is doing now?

In this week’s Crosstown Midweek Bible Study, Dr. Nicholas Pearce explores nostalgia — our powerful tendency to look backward, remember selectively, and sometimes romanticize what used to be.

This teaching explores how to remember God's faithfulness without making yesterday an idol or trying to recreate a season He has already brought us out of. We can be grateful for what was without believing our best days are behind us. Emotionally mature Christianity knows how to honor the past without living in it.

Crosstown Midweek is our weekly virtual Bible Study designed to recharge your faith and root you in Scripture.

Join us live every Wednesday at 7:00pm CT.
